Canadian prog-rock outfit Rush has responded to their fans' demand, adding another round of North American dates to their "Clockwork Angels" trek.

The iconic trio, comprised of guitarist Alex Lifeson, singer/bassist/keyboardist Geddy Lee and drummer Neil Peart, will return to the stage April 23 in Austin, TX, followed by another eight performances scattered across the eastern U.S. The current domestic itinerary wraps up May 11 in Atlantic City, NJ, though more shows will be announced soon, according to a press release.

Tickets for the latest leg go on sale Jan. 28 via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

A few European gigs are also on the schedule, beginning May 22 in Manchester, England, and extending through a June 10 performance in Helsinki, Finland. More information about international shows is available at the band's website.

Rush revealed "Clockwork Angels," the band's 20th studio album, last June via Roadrunner Records. The 12-track set topped the Canadian charts and entered The Billboard 200 at No. 2, selling more than 104,000 units domestically. The new effort's chart debut matches that of their platinum-selling 1993 release, "Counterparts," which also landed at No. 2.

Late last year, Rush took home two awards at London's Classic Rock Awards: Band of the Year and Album of the Year. The trio will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles April 18.
