LeAnn Rimes preps covers album, fall tour dates
LeAnn Rimes, who performed the song "Swingin'" last night (8/18) on NBC-TV's "America's Got Talent," is lining up some fall roadwork as the release date for her forthcoming album nears.
Rimes' new release, "Lady & Gentlemen," is due in stores Oct. 5. The covers album includes "Swingin'," which was a hit for John Anderson in the '80s.
Rimes is nearing her 28th birthday, but she's already a 15-year veteran of the country-music circuit. She was just 13 when her first single, "Blue," became a huge hit.
She became the youngest Grammy winner ever in 1997, when she took the Best New Artist Award.
