Built to Spill plots winter course through Northwest
Built to Spill has unleashed a Pacific Northwest run that kicks off at the end of January and features new band members Steve Gere (drums) and Jason Albertini (bass).
The Idaho-based indie rockers will kick off the short trek with two nights (1/31-2/1) in Portland, OR, followed by gigs in Washington state and parts of Canada before wrapping up with two hometown shows in Boise (2/11-2/12).
Tickets for the two-week outing are available now at the band's website.
Singer/guitarist Doug Martsch and guitarists Brett Netson and Jim Roth will welcome new drummer Gere and bassist Albertini on the run. The two musicians are replacing drummer Scott Plouf and bassist Brett Nelson, both of whom left the group amicably, according to a press release.
Built to Spill most recently unveiled "There Is No Enemy," the outfit's seventh studio album which surfaced in October 2009.
