Man Man, Murder By Death head out for U.S. club gigs
Experimental rock outfit Man Man will take on a co-headlining winter run with alt-rockers Murder By Death in continued support of last year's "Life Fantastic."
The two bands will hit the road with a Feb. 7 performance in Washington, D.C., followed by 20 more club dates scattered across the eastern U.S. The current schedule wraps up with a March 2 show in Philadelphia.
Tickets for the trek go on sale Friday at Man Man's website.
Man Man unveiled "Life Fantastic," the group's fourth studio effort, in May 2011 via Anti Records. The 11-track collection marks the band's first to be produced by an outside source -- in this case, Monsters of Folk member Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley).
Indiana natives Murder By Death are drumming up support for the quintet's recently dropped seventh studio album, "Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon." That set surfaced in late September and peaked at No. 76 on The Billboard 200.
