Daughtry, 3 Doors Down nail down 2013 gigs
Multi-platinum rockers Daughtry and 3 Doors Down have tacked a second leg of co-headlining dates to their itinerary, which now pushes into the New Year.
The two outfits will complete the first round of shows this week, beginning tonight (12/11) in Broomfield, CO, and wrapping up Dec. 15 in Anaheim, CA. The latest leg kicks off Jan. 25 in Dallas, and ventures across the eastern U.S. through a Feb. 23 performance in Sunrise, FL. More dates will be announced in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
Oklahoma-based rock outfit Aranda will provide opening support on the 2013 trek, tickets for which are go on sale beginning Friday (12/14) in most markets.
Grammy-nominated Daughtry most recently released "Break the Spell," the band's third studio set, which surfaced in November 2011. The gold-certified album landed at No. 8 on The Billboard 200.
3 Doors Down's latest studio release, "Time of My Life," hit shelves in July 2011 and peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200. Last month, the rockers unveiled "The Greatest Hits," a best-of collection featuring nine remixed and remastered No. 1 hits, along with three new songs: "One Light," "There's a Life" and "Goodbyes."
