Allstar Weekend prep for North American headlining run
Power-pop trio Allstar Weekend will hit the road this winter for a headlining trek across North America in anticipation of a new, still-in-progress studio album.
The Southern California natives will begin the month-long journey with a Jan. 19 performance in Anaheim, CA, before moving east across the continent. The 21-city outing, which includes two Canadian dates, wraps up Feb. 22 in Toronto.
Cute Is What We Aim For, Tiffany Alvord and Beneath The Sun will handle opening duties on the run.
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
Allstar Weekend, comprised of singer Zachary Porter, bassist Cameron Quiseng and drummer Michael Martinez, most recently unveiled their sophomore set, "All The Way," in September 2011 via Hollywood Records. The outfit is currently recording its third collection in Nashville, according to a press release, with an intended drop sometime in early 2013.
The video for the band's latest single, "Life As We Know It," is currently streaming at the band's YouTube page.
