Iconic rock act Fleetwood Mac will return to the road in 2013 for its first tour in three years.

A 34-city North American itinerary has been unveiled, which kicks off April 4 in Columbus, OH, and runns through early June.

The band will tour with a lineup that includes original members Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, who co-founded the group in 1967, and Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, members of the band since 1975. Longtime member Christine McVie made a clean break from the group a decade ago, and won't participate in the upcoming trek.

"Having started Fleetwood Mac with John McVie in 1967, it has always been so gratifying that despite the various incarnations, the band has survived," Buckingham said in a press release. "Throughout the years, though, the one thing that has remained constant is our fans. I am looking forward to getting back behind the kit, reconnecting with the fans and sharing the stage with my fellow band members."

Stated Nicks: "After spending four days at Lindsey's house working on music and one really fun day doing a crazy photo session, I am quite excited about next year. Everything seems to be falling into place. 2013 looks like the year of Fleetwood Mac."

Tickets for select dates will hit the market beginning Dec. 14, but there will be opportunities to purchase tickets sooner. Presale tickets will be available to American Express cardholders, and Live Nation mobile app users can purchase tickets beginning on Dec. 13, according to a press release.

In conjunction with the tour and the 35th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac's best known album, 1977's "Rumours," a new deluxe reissue of the album will be released in early 2013. It will contain previously unreleased studio and live tracks.
