Mike Tyson unveils "Undisputed Truth" road trip
After a successful run on Broadway, Mike Tyson will take his solo show, "Undisputed Truth," on the road, canvassing North America over three months.
The former heavyweight champion's 24-city journey kicks off with two consecutive nights (2/12-2/13) in Indianapolis, IN, and crisscrosses the continent through a May 5 performance in Westbury, NY.
Tickets for most of the shows are available now via Ticketmaster.
Tyson's one-man gig, directed by Spike Lee and produced by James L. Nederlander, covers his life and career, including boxing stories and accounts from his cameos in "The Hangover" movies and his Animal Planet series, "Taking on Tyson."
The show began on Broadway this summer, posting more than $1.2 million over 12 performances, according to published reports.
News of the tour opening in Indianapolis has caused quite a stir, according to USA Today. Tyson spent three years in an Indiana prison for the conviction of a 1991 rape of a Miss Black America contestant.
