Bruce Springsteen adds spring and summer European gigs
With the latest round of U.S. dates just about wrapped, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have unveiled another leg of European dates slated for next summer.
The award-winning rocker and his legendary band have two North American shows left: Dec. 4 in Anaheim, CA, and Dec. 6 in Glendale, AZ. The latest European trek will get underway next spring, beginning May 26 in Munich, Germany, and move through 17 markets over two months' time. The itinerary also includes a July 11 headlining performance at Rock in Roma in Rome, Italy.
So far, Springsteen and crew have ventured through 17 cities for more than 80 shows, according to the rocker's website.
Springsteen released "Wrecking Ball," his 17th studio effort, in early March. The album debuted at the top of The Billboard 200 and at No. 1 in 15 other countries.
The Boss is also slated to join Jon Bon Jovi, Kanye West, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys and The Who, among others, for the "12-12-12" benefit at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Proceeds will benefit The Robin Hood Relief Fund, which provides money and materials to local organizations serving those directly affected by the hurricane.
