Kanye West plans trio of Atlantic City dates
Grammy Award-winning Kanye West will follow up his participation in the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit with a trio of Atlantic City shows to round out the year.
The hip-hop/rap superstar will be one of several performers at the "12-12-12 (A Concert for Sandy Relief"), alongside Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Roger Waters and The Who at New York City's Madison Square Garden. More information about the benefit is available at the event's website.
West will finish up the year with three consecutive nights (12/28-12/30) in Atlantic City, NJ, marking his first solo appearances since two sold-out shows in July.
Tickets for the New Jersey gigs go on sale Friday via Ticketmaster.
West most recently contributed to "Cruel Summer," a compilation album of musicians of GOOD Music that surfaced in September. The 12-track effort debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and has produced four Billboard 100 singles -- "Mercy," "Cold," "New God Flow" and "Clique" -- all of which West had a hand in.
