Buddy Miller, Jim Lauderdale promote country duets collection

Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale will hit the road together for an outing supporting their country duets effort, the aptly titled "Buddy and Jim."
The critically-acclaimed musicians will first take on a performance at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry Dec. 15 before taking a break over the holidays. The pair will embark on the Antigua-bound Caymo Cruise for a week in mid-January and will officially kick off their outing Feb. 1 in Louisville, KY. Nine major market stops follow, wrapping up March 1 in Nashville.
The longtime collaborators unleashed "Buddy and Jim" on CD and limited edition vinyl Friday (11/23) as part of Record Store Day's Back to Black Friday at independent record stores. The New West Records collection, which was recorded at Miller's home studio, will make its official worldwide release Dec. 11.
Miller and Lauderdale also co-host "The Buddy & Jim Show," a radio show on SiriusXM's Outlaw Country channel.Fans can pre-order the album and download a free version of "The Train That Carried My Gal From Town" at the pair's Facebook page.
