Harry Shearer, Judith Owen celebrate holidays with sing-along outing
Husband-and-wife team Judith Owen & Harry Shearer have plotted their annual holiday sing-along trek, which will venture through four major markets next month.
Actor, comedian and musician Harry Shearer will join his singer/songwriter wife Judith Owen, along with some unannounced special guests, for four dates, beginning Dec. 2 in New York City and pushing through Chicago (12/4), Los Angeles (12/14) and New Orleans (12/19).
In the past, the holiday sing-alongs, which mix comedy with music, have featured guests including Jane Lynch, Richard Thompson, Jill Sobule, Christopher Guest, Jon Cleary and "Weird Al" Yankovic.
The Grammy-nominated Shearer, who voices several characters on "The Simpsons" and starred in "This is Spinal Tap," most recently released "Can't Take a Hint," which surfaced in August, while Owen unveiled "Some Kind of Comfort" in January.
