Passion Pit to follow holiday gigs with 2013 outing
East Coast alt-rockers Passion Pit have firmed up their end-of-year schedule, as well as some 2013 dates, all in support of their summertime release, "Gossamer."
The electro-pop outfit will take on a week-long European trek starting Nov. 11 in Dublin before heading back to North America for a round of Mexico stops and a handful of U.S. shows, beginning Nov. 28 in Providence, RI. The five-piece band will then make the rounds with the radio station-sponsored holiday concerts through December.
The latest round of confirmed shows kick off Feb. 5 in Norfolk, VA. The dozen dates, which will feature support from Matt & Kim, push through a March 2 performance in Salt Lake City.

"Gossamer," Passion Pit's second studio effort, surfaced in July on Columbia Records. The Chris Zane-produced collection follows the band's 2009 debut, "Manners," and peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200.
