Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley join forces for tour

Country superstars Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley will team up for a 2013 road trip dubbed the "Locked and Loaded Tour."

The pair will venture through 33 major markets beginning Jan. 17, though exact dates and venues have yet to be announced.

More information will be unveiled soon via the artists' respective websites.

"Some of my favorite times on tour over the years were with Miranda and her crew," Bentley said in a press release. "We have a lot in common musically and our fans do too. It's going to be a killer year."

Lambert, the reigning two-time CMA and reigning three-time ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, most recently released "Four the Record" in 2011. That effort, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, makes her fourth release to hit the top of the chart.

Bentley released his sixth album, "Home," in February. That chart-topping collection is currently nominated for three CMA Awards, including Album of the Year.
