Squarepusher unveils North American shows behind "Ufabulum"

Electronica act Squarepusher has added a handful of North American shows to his fall itinerary behind the spring release, "Ufabulum."
Squarepusher, the performance pseudonym of English-born Tom Jenkinson, will first make an appearance Oct. 26 at Moogfest in Asheville, NC, followed by club and theater shows across the East Coast. The short seven-city trek wraps up Nov. 3 in Chicago.
Squarepusher unveiled "Ufabulum" in May via Warp Records. The new set comes four years after "Just a Souvenir," and three years after his latest live collection, "Solo Electric Bass 1."
To celebrate the North American trek, Squarepusher has released "KCRW Session," a digital-only live EP that is available here. The collection features five live reworks from "Ufabulum," according to a press release.
"The whole session was recorded in a single take with no edits and is in keeping with the way I was performing the material in the live shows at the time," Jenkinson said in a press release. "I wanted to introduce more disorder and mayhem to these pieces, and to move away from the more strictly controlled sound of the album."
