In Pictures: Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco

San Francisco's third annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival rocked 80,000-plus music (and food) lovers this past weekend (8/14-15) among the lush greenery of the city's historic Golden Gate Park.

Grateful Dead spin-off group Furthur, featuring Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, were among the fest's headliners, along with East Coast ubercool purveyors The Strokes and two rockers from the South, My Morning Jacket and Kings of Leon just to name a few. Organizers made a point of offering more than the usual festival food, giving local culinary talent a chance to let attendees sample their gourmet fare.

SoundSpike contributing photographer Anna Hiatt attended both days of the Outside Lands Festival, and below are some highlights.
