Titus Andronicus set schedule behind "Local Business"
Punk-rockers Titus Andronicus have mapped out a fall run supporting their impending third album, "Local Business."
The New Jersey-based outfit will kick off the road trip with an Oct. 23 performance in Philadelphia, followed by club and festival stops over the course of six weeks. The outing, which crisscrosses the nation, currently wraps Dec. 2 in New York City.
Punk act Ceremony will provide opening support on the trek, with the exception of the Nov. 4 performance at Austin, TX's Fun Fun Fun Fest.
Titus Andronicus will release "Local Business," the band's third studio effort, Oct. 22 via XL Recordings. Fans can preorder the album, which was recorded at Marcata Recording studio in NEw Paltz, NY, with the help of producer Kevin McMahon, at the group's website.
The forthcoming set comes two years after "The Monitor," which Pitchfork Media selected as its No. 10 album of 2010.
