Phish to close out 2012 with multiple New York City shows

Iconic jam band Phish will return to the stage for a multi-night celebration in New York City, celebrating year's end and ringing in 2013.
The Vermont-based outfit, comprised of singer/guitarist Trey Anastasio, drummer Jon Fishman, bassist Mike Gordon and keyboardist Page McConnell, will perform at New York City's Madison Square Garden for four consecutive nights, beginning Dec. 28 and finishing up with a New Year's Eve performance (12/31).
Pre-sale tickets are available now through Oct. 15 via the band's website, while public onsales begin Oct. 20.
Phish spent the summer on the road, wrapping up an extensive road trip over Labor Day weekend (9/1-9/2).
In April, Phish reissued its first full-length studio album, "Junta," as a limited edition, deluxe 3-LP vinyl set in conjunction with Record Store Day (4/21). The most recent studio effort, "Joy," surfaced in 2009 and marked the band's return after a four-year hiatus.
