Electric Guest prepare for "Mondo" trek

Psychedelic pop-rockers Electric Guest have mapped out a U.S. run this fall behind their recently released springtime debut, "Mondo."
The L.A.-based outfit, comprised of Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton, will be joined by a handful of support musicians for the trek, which gets underway Oct. 16 in Washington, D.C. and works it way westward across the continent. The 13-date outing wraps up with a hometown show Nov. 4 at Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre.
Electric Guest will follow the U.S. leg with a handful of dates in France.
Ticketing information for all concerts is available now at the band's website.
Electric Guest unveiled "Mondo," the group's debut album, in April. The effort, which features the single "This Head I Hold," peaked at No. 11 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart and at No. 49 on the magazine's Independent Albums chart.
The band will also be selling a brand-new three-song EP at the forthcoming trek. The set, which features their latest single "Holiday," will be available digitally beginning Oct. 22 and on vinyl Nov. 6.
