Tiesto reschedules October shows due to injury
Dutch DJ Tiesto has delayed his "Club Life College Invasion Tour" of North America so he can recover from a back injury.
The electronica artist will take the month of October off, after which he will hit parts of South America and Australia before kicking off the rescheduled North American trek with a Dec. 6 show in San Diego. The domestic outing visits 17 major markets, including the March 6 wrap-up in Fresno, CA.
Additional shows will be announced soon, according to a press release.
Tickets for the postponed shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Further ticketing information is available via Tiesto's website.
"I hate to disappoint my fans and be told I have to sit still for a while, but I am relieved we were able to reschedule the dates," Tiesto said in a press release. "I'm looking forward to seeing you all very soon!"
Tiesto's most recent studio effort, "Kaleidoscope," surfaced in 2009 and features collaborations with several artists, including Nelly Furtado, Tegan & Sara and Jonsi of Sigur Ros.
