With an interactive film and a new album in his back pocket, plus a tour with Justin Bieber to look forward to, Cody Simpson is one of the luckiest 15 year olds around.

"I've been on tour for three months now," Simpson said as he was near the end of his summer tour with Big Time Rush. "It's been really good. There's a lot of exciting stuff going on. I'm really excited for the album and everything."

The album is "Paradise," which the Australian-born pop star will release on Oct. 2, right in the middle of his four-show stint on Bieber's tour.

"There are a lot of really cool songs for my fans on there," Simpson said of his upcoming album. "There are a lot of really chill, acoustic, beachy songs on there. It really gives a great representation of how I grew up, the lifestyle that I live and everything that I represent."

For "Paradise," he co-wrote with some cool partners, such as Taio Cruz, with whom he collaborated on the single "Wish U Were Here."

"Writing comes pretty easy to me," Simpson said. "I get ideas all the time. I'm constantly writing. But each song is a learning process. I learned a lot of different things from everyone. That's the reason I like to write with a lot of different people. I like to write by myself, but it's good to collaborate with different people because you can learn from them. You can watch them in the studio and they can help you be the best that you can be."

To prep for the album, Simpson released the interactive movie adventure "Finding Cody," which stars Simpson and his younger sister, Alli. In the movie, available via this link, the players take the journey of two girls who are Simpson fans. Players make the choices for them and they have the opportunity of ending up backstage with the teenager.

"I'm pretty stoked for that," he said. "I'm always into looking to come up with new, innovative ways for my fans to connect with me. As a young artist, you don't get a lot of plays on the radio and stuff like that. I'm always coming up with different ideas, innovative ideas to connect with fans in order to stay in touch with them, such as this interactive movie we have."

Fans can see Simpson for real, however, when he plays a 30-minute set opening for Bieber beginning this Saturday at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ.

"I was just talking to Justin the other day about getting on tour," he said. "We're pretty excited. It'll be cool to do a couple shows with him just as my album comes out."
