Ed Sheeran confirms 2013 North American tour
English singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran will follow up his in-progress "VH1 You Oughta Know Tour" with a round of major market concerts throughout North America beginning early next year.
Sheeran will complete his sold-out first U.S. headlining trek, which continues tonight (9/25) in Chicago and pushes through an Oct. 6 performance in Seattle. The latest leg kicks off after the holidays with a Jan. 17 show in Houston. The 19-city outing features a handful of legendary venues, including Nashville's Ryman Auditorium (1/22) and New York City's Radio City Music Hall (1/30).
Sheeran unveiled his debut studio set, "+," in September 2011 via Elektra Records. The 13-track effort, which includes the single "The A Team," peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 and at No. 1 and 2 respectively on the Folk Albums and Rock Albums charts, and has earned multi-platinum certification in the U.K.
