The Wallflowers support "Glad All Over" with nationwide run
The Wallflowers have planned a fall excursion across North America in support of the band's forthcoming new studio set, "Glad All Over."
The road trip gets underway with an Oct. 6 performance in San Antonio, TX, and crisscrosses the nation for more than a month, stopping by theaters and clubs in 22 major markets. The outing, which includes an Oct. 13 appearance in Mexico City, currently concludes Nov. 18 in Austin, TX.
The Grammy-winning rockers will release "Glad All Over," their sixth studio album, Oct. 9 via Columbia Records. The effort, which follows 2005's "Rebel, Sweetheart," was recorded at Nashville's Easy Eye Sound studio with frontman Jakob Dylan, bassist Greg Richling, keyboardist Rami Jaffee, guitarist Stuart Mathis and drummer Jack Irons.
Fans can watch the video for the lead single, "Reboot the Mission," which is currently streaming at the band's website.
The Wallflowers will also promote the new effort with a handful of TV appearances, including "Good Morning America" (10/1), "The Late Show with David Letterman" (10/5) and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (10/8).
