The Presets plan North American trek behind "Pacifica"

Indie electronic duo The Presets will return to North America next month for a run of shows in support of its just-released studio set, "Pacifica."
The Australian pair will first complete a round of appearances on the Parklife Festival circuit in their native land before heading stateside for the tour's Oct. 12 kickoff in San Francisco, CA. The North American leg ventures through nine major markets, including the Oct. 28 conclusion in Pomona, CA.
Most of the domestic shows will feature special guests, including Yacht, K.Flay, Gigamesh and Strange Talk, among others.
The Presets unleashed "Pacifica," the duo's third studio effort, last week (9/11) via Casablanca Records. The album comes four years after "Apocalypso," a multi-platinum-selling collection that earned the pair ARIA Awards for Best Dance Release and Album of the Year.
That record's lead single, "My People," stayed on the ARIA charts for more than 75 weeks, according to a press release, making it the longest-charting Australia single in ARIA chart history.
