The Killers head out behind "Battle Born"
Alt-rockers The Killers will hit the international tour trail next month in support of their brand-new studio album, "Battle Born."
The Las Vegas natives will first complete shows in Toronto (9/22) and Los Angeles (9/26) later this week, followed by a month-long break before heading across the pond for a three-week U.K. leg.
The North American portion of the outing, which will feature Tegan & Sara as the opening act, begins Nov. 29 in Broomfield, CO, and pushes through 11 markets, including a two-night stand Dec. 28-29 in Las Vegas. A two-week Australian tour kicks off the band's 2013 itinerary.

The Killers unveiled "Battle Born," the outfit's fourth studio effort, earlier this week (9/18). The album title doubles as the band's studio name, where they recorded the majority of the set. The band gives credit to five producers on the effort: Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor, Brendan O'Brien, Stuart Price and Daniel Lanois.
The new collection comes three years after The Killers' "Day & Age," which peaked at No. 6 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the U.K. Albums chart.
