The Offspring take "Days Go By" on North American trek
Orange County punk outfit The Offspring will close out the summer with a headlining tour through North America behind the recently released "Days Go By."
The four-piece act, helmed by singer/guitarist Dexter Holland, will begin the outing with an Aug. 30 appearance at the On The Waterfront Festival in Rockford, IL, followed by major market stops across the nation. A trio of Canadian performances also made the schedule: Sept. 2 in Toronto and Sept. 3 and Sept. 5 in Montreal. The North American road trip currently concludes with an Oct. 6 concert in Las Vegas.
A round of Japanese dates follow, as well as an early 2013 Australian run as part of the Soundwave Festival.
The Offspring unleashed "Days Go By," the outfit's ninth studio effort, in June via Columbia Records. The Bob Rock-produced set, the first to feature drummer Pete Parada, follows 2008's "Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace." The summertime release landed at No. 12 on The Billboard 200 and at No. 4 on the Canadian Album chart.
