...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead plot fall run

Alt-rockers ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead will follow up the late October release of their new album, "Lost Songs," with three weeks' worth of North American concerts.
Following a two-week European run, the Austin-based outfit will begin the domestic roadwork at home with a Nov. 4 appearance at the 7th annual Fun Fun Fun Fest, followed by major market performances spread from coast to coast. The 10-city trek includes a Nov. 20 show in Toronto before wrapping up the following night (11/21) in Chicago.
More information about the tour is available at the band's Facebook page.
The alt-rock quartet will unveil "Lost Songs," the group's eighth studio effort, Oct. 23 via Superball Music. The album, which follows last year's "Tao of the Dead," was recorded in Hanover, Germany.
Trail of Dead released the impending collection's first single, "Up To Infinity," today (8/22) at the the German website Visions.
"The first preview of our album...is about the Syrian civil war," lead singer Conrad Keely, said in a press release. "We believe that tyranny and despotism suffered by any people, anywhere, is intolerable and should not be treated as an internal matter, but completely justifies intervention by the international community."
Keely said the band is dedicating the song to Pussy Riot, the punk outfit recently sentenced to two years in a Russian prison on hooliganism charges for comments made in opposition of Russian president Vladimir Putin.
