Heartless Bastards continue push behind "Arrow"
Garage-rockers Heartless Bastards have added another round of North American shows in continued support of the recently released "Arrow."
The Cincinnati-based outfit will continue its in-progress summer excursion tonight (8/17) in Santa Ana, CA, followed by another 10 club shows and festival appearances.
Since last check, another 18 stops have been tacked on to the schedule, beginning with a Sept. 28 appearance at El Cosmico Festival in Marfa, TX, and pushing through a Nov. 8 show supporting Grace Potter and the Nocturnals in their hometown of Austin, TX.
Futurebirds will provide opening support on the outing from Oct. 19 in Madison, WI, through Nov. 2 in Nashville, TN.
In February, Heartless Bastards released the group's fourth studio album, "Arrow," via Partisan Records. That effort follows their 2009 release, "The Mountain," which was produced by Mike McCarthy (Spoon).
The video for the album's latest single, "Only You," is currently streaming at the outfit's website.
