Maps & Atlases continue "Grateful" trek across U.S.

Chicago indie outfit Maps & Atlases is taking stage at festivals and clubs across the U.S. in continued support of the spring release "Beware and Be Grateful."
The four-piece band, comprised of singer/guitarist Dave Davison, guitarist Erin Elders, bassist Shiraz Dada and drummer Chris Hainey, will next perform Aug.17 in Davenport, IA, before moving further east for a few shows. The five-week trek canvases the nation, stopping by 23 venues through a Sept. 28 show in South Bend, IN.
Maps & Atlases released "Beware and Be Grateful," the group's third full-length set, in April via Barsuk Records. The Chicago experimental rockers recorded the album in a series of week-long sessions at Omaha's ARC Studios with producer Jason Cupp, who also worked on 2010's "Perch Patchwork."
Fans can stream the single "Winter" now via the band's website.
