Social Distortion push "Hard Times" tour into 2013
SoCal rockers Social Distortion have extended their in-progress outing into the winter as they continue working the road behind last year's "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes."
The punk rockers are in the midst of a European leg, with the next performance slated for Tuesday (8/14) in Hamburg, Germany. Since last check, another 18 shows have been scattered throughout the itinerary, including second nights in Chicago (10/11-10/12) and Cleveland (11/18-11/19).
The newly added concerts also encompass multiple December performances at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, as well as HOB shows in West Hollywood, CA, and Las Vegas. Two San Diego gigs are also on the books for early January.
Social Distortion released the band's first album in more than six years, "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes," in January 2011. The effort, which peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200, is the outfit's first to make it into the chart's Top 10, as well as the first to be produced by singer/guitarist Mike Ness.
