Cee Lo Green delays Vegas residency, preps for new albums

"It's always been a dream of mine to be among the great music legends who have had a Las Vegas residency and I was very much looking forward to launching 'Loberace' this year," Green said in a press release. "But, as we move into the third season of 'The Voice,' with my dedicated commitment to the filming schedule and love for my role on the show, I will need to postpone the opening of 'Loberace' to early 2013. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Fans who purchased tickets for the postponed dates can receive a refund or exchange them for new dates at the original point of purchase.

Along with his solo career, Green is also known as part of hip-hop outfit Goodie Mob, as well as a founding member of Gnarls Barkley with Danger Mouse.

Earlier this year, Green announced via Twitter plans for a new solo effort, dubbed "Everybody's Brother," as well a forthcoming Goodie Mob collection entitled "Age Against The Machine." No word yet when either album will hit retailers.
