Against Me! adds more U.S. shows

Just two months after frontman Tom Gabel revealed he's transgendered, punk rockers Against Me! have tacked more shows onto their in-progress worldwide trek ahead of a brand-new studio set.
The outfit, helmed by Laura Jane Grace (born Tom Gabel), continue their current European leg with a July 13 show in Dour, Belgium. Since last check, the summer schedule now includes a U.S. portion, beginning with a Sept. 2 performance at Fuck Yeah Fest in Los Angeles. The latest edition features seven major market stops, including an early November appearance at Austin, TX's Fun Fun Fun Fest.
Against Me! is currently working on a follow-up to the group's fifth studio effort, "White Crosses," which surfaced in 2010. The new album is being recorded at Laura Jane Grace's Total Treble Studio in Florida and will be released on their own Total Treble Music label, according to a press release.
