Slash brings "Apocalyptic Love" to North America
Slash will spend the summer on the North American tour trail with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators in continued support of his latest effort, "Apocalyptic Love."
The former Guns N' Roses guitarist and his crew -- singer Myles Kennedy, drummer Brent Fitz, bassist Todd Kerns and guitarist Frank Sidoris -- will begin the journey with a July 12 show in Portland, OR, and work their way east through Canada before returning to the U.S. Aug. 2 in Boston. The full domestic itinerary consists of 38 major market stops before wrapping up Oct. 3 in Los Angeles.
A handful of Australian shows are on the books, as well as a few Brazilian performances.
Slash unveiled "Apocalyptic Love," his second solo album, last month via Dik Hayd International. The effort, produced by Eric Valentine (Good Charlotte, Queens of the Stone Age), peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and follows his eponymous 2010 solo debut.
On July 10, Slash will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Blvd. Walk of Fame.
