The Hives continue supporting "Lex Hives"
Swedish rock outfit The Hives have extended their in-progress international tour behind their June release, "Lex Hives."
Since last check, a slew of stops have been added to the garage rockers' schedule, which continues this weekend with appearances in Milwaukee and Chicago.
After a month of European gigs, the five-piece outfit will return to North America for eight shows, beginning with a Sept. 6 in Vancouver and pushing through a Sept. 16 performance in Morrison, CO.
The Hives unleashed their fifth full-length album, "Lex Hives," June 5 via their own Disque Hives label. The effort, which follows 2007's "The Black and White Album," marks the group's first self-funded, self-produced and self-released set. A deluxe edition is also available and includes bonus tracks produced by Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.
Earlier this week, The Hives' AOL Sessions went live, featuring a live New York City performance.
