Jon Spencer Blues Explosion preps for "Meat and Bone" release

Alt-rock trio The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion will follow up an impending European trek with a round of North American gigs in support of their forthcoming set, "Meat and Bone."
The New York City-based band will first venture through Europe, beginning July 7 in Liege, Belgium, and wrapping up Aug. 9 in Sibenik, Croatia. The North American stretch gets underway Oct. 6 in Philadelphia,, and works it way through 17 major markets before closing Nov. 14 in Vancouver.
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion will unveil the brand-new "Meat and Bone," later this year. The album will follow their 2004 effort, "Damage," as well as the 2010 retrospective, "Dirty Shirt Rock 'n' Roll: The First Ten Years."
"Black Mold," the first single from the forthcoming effort, is currently available for download via the band's website.
