Bon Iver continues roadwork behind "Bon Iver, Bon Iver"
Indie folk-rockers Bon Iver will push their in-progress trek through the fall in continued support of "Bon Iver, Bon Iver."
The Wisconsin-based outfit, helmed by singer/songwriter Justin Vernon, performs again July 5 in Gydnia, Poland. Another 10 North American dates have been tacked onto the schedule, beginning Sept. 10 in Ottawa, Ontario, and pushing through a four-night stand in New York City. More European shows have also been added to the itinerary.
"Bon Iver, Bon Iver," the outfit's second studio album, hit retailers last June via Jagjaguwar. The effort, which followed 2008's "For Emma, Forever Ago," debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Alternative Albums, Independent Albums and Rock Albums charts.
The release also earned Bon Iver two Grammy Awards, one for Best Alternative Album and another for Best New Artist.
Earlier this week, Bon Iver unveiled an iTunes Session EP, available exclusively via iTunes.
