Heartless Bastards continue push behind "Arrow"
Garage-rock outfit Heartless Bastards have extended their impending summer trek into the fall with a handful of club shows, all in support of the recently released "Arrow."
The Cincinnati-based band will kick off the summer portion with a June 30 appearance at Milwaukee, WI's Summerfest, followed by festival gigs and club shows in 21 major markets. The fall leg begins Sept. 5 in Hattiesburg, MS, and visits eight cities over the course of 10 days.
Heartless Bastards unveiled "Arrow," the group's fourth studio set, Feb. 14 via Partisan Records. That effort follows their 2009 release, "The Mountain," which was produced by Mike McCarthy (Spoon).
The video for the lead single, "Parted Ways," is currently streaming at the quartet's website, and fans can download a free MP3 of the track by signing up for the band's email list.
