Skrillex tackles world festival circuit in support of "Bangarang"
Electronic superstar Skrillex will spend the summer touring the world, making festival appearances across the globe behind December's "Bangarang."
The Grammy-winning dubstep artist, born Sonny John Moore, will first complete a slew of European gigs, beginning June 27 in Sopron, Hungary, and pushing through an Aug. 26 gig in London.
North American festival appearances are scattered throughout the last half of the itinerary, including a slew of Canadian shows. Among the dates, Skrillex is slated to perform at Camp Bisco in Mariaville, NY (7/12); Hard Summer Festival in Los Angeles (8/4); Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, CA, (8/12); Electric Zoo New York in New York City (9/2); and Voodoo Experience in New Orleans, LA (10/28).
Skrillex unveiled his latest EP, "Bangarang," in December via Big Beat/Atlantic. The seven-track set landed at No. 14 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
