Bob Dylan sets his first North American shows of 2012

Bob Dylan has been on the road overseas for much of the year, but he'll soon be back on his home turf.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's camp has confirmed more than a dozen dates focusing on the Mountain West and Midwest, kicking off Aug. 10 in Lloydminster, Alberta.
There have been rumors that a new album could surface from Dylan later this year, but no official announcement. Dylan's next release would be his first set of newly recorded material since 2009's "Together Through Life" and "Christmas in the Heart."
This spring, Dylan was among 13 recipients awarded with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
