Doors-centric Sunset Strip Festival to feature Marilyn Manson, The Offspring
The multi-day festival, scheduled for Aug. 16-18, will take over West Hollywood, CA's Sunset Strip and feature different clubs and shows each of the three days, with the final day including a street festival, complete with a VIP rooftop lounge, an autograph tent and interactive experiences.
Black Label Society, Far East Movement, De La Soul, Dead Sara, Das Racist and The Mowglis are among the 50-plus acts confirmed for the event.
Tickets, which range from $75 to $250 plus fees, are available now via the festival's website.
Each year, the event salutes an artist with an influence on the Strip; The Doors, once the house band at the Whisky A Go-Go, will receive the honor this time around.
"It's a thrill to be honored by The Sunset Strip Music Festival this year," The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger stated in a press release. "Venice was our home, but The Doors lived and came of age on the Sunset Strip. It's exciting to see that the legacy we helped create is still alive and thriving today!"
