Dropkick Murphys plan "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" outing

Celtic punk-rockers Dropkick Murphys will follow up an in-progress European run with a late-summer U.S. trek in continued support of "Going Out In Style."
The seven-piece band will first complete 15 European stops, which include a mixture of festival appearances and theater shows through early July. The latest U.S. addition, dubbed the "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Tour," begins Sept. 14 in Buffalo, NY, and stops by another five major markets through a Sept. 21 performance in Boston.
Tickets for the Boston show are available now via the outfit's website, while on-sales for the remaining domestic gigs begin Friday (6/15).
Dropkick Murphys revealed "Going Out In Style," the group's seventh studio effort, in March 2011 via their own Born & Bred Records. The album surfaced four years after "The Meanest of Times," marking the band's longest lapse between studio releases.
"Going Out In Style" debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200, making it the rockers' highest charting release to date.
