Shania Twain expands Vegas schedule

"My first step in creating the show was writing out the song list, building my ideas from there," Twain explained in a press release. "I wanted to keep the hits at the heart of it all while weaving elements of surprise throughout the experience. My vision is to bring the atmosphere of each song alive through multi-dimension sensory and share the journey of my life and career with the audience from a unique perspective."

Raj Kapoor will direct the show experience with the help of lighting designer Peter Morse and production designer Michael Cotten, who worked on Michael Jackson's "History" tour and Gloria Estefan's "Live and Unwrapped" residency at Caesars Palace. Twain's costumes will be designed by Marc Bouwer, whose client list includes Beyonce, Angelina Jolie and Heidi Klum, among others.

Twain has signed on to play 60 shows per year in Vegas, though she hasn't performed a concert in seven years, claiming that that the breakup of her marriage with music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange caused her to lose her voice -- a condition from which she says she has recovered.
