Peter Gabriel takes "So" on 25th anniversary run

British rocker Peter Gabriel will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his multi-platinum album "So" with a fall swing through North America.
The "Back to Front" trek will get underway Sept. 16 in Quebec City, Quebec, and move through 12 markets across the continent. The current itinerary concludes Oct. 9 in Santa Barbara, CA, though more dates could be added, according to a press release.
Fan club members can purchase tickets beginning tomorrow (5/23) in Canada and May 31 in the U.S. via Gabriel's website. General on-sales will be available soon after via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
On the "Back to Front" outing, Gabriel will perform the iconic 1986 album, "So," in its entirety, as well as other hits from his lengthy career. "So" features several hit songs, including "Sledgehammer," "Red Rain," "In Your Eyes" and "Big Time," as well as "Don't Give Up," a duet with Kate Bush. The album, Gabriel's best-selling collection to date, ranked at No. 14 on Rolling Stone's list of Top 100 Albums of the '80s.
Gabriel most recently released "New Blood," his ninth studio set which surfaced in October. The collection is made of orchestral re-recordings of tracks spanning his career, including several from "So."
