Ottmar Liebert canvasses the West this summer

On the heels of a just completed spring run along the East Coast, New Flamenco guitarist Ottmar Liebert has unveiled the dates of his North American Summer 2012 tour.
Accompanied by his band, Luna Negra, the Santa Fe, NM-based Liebert kicks off the month-long trek July 24 in Spokane, WA, hitting cities throughout the western U.S. before wrapping with a two-nighter Aug. 25-26 at in Houston. Highlights of the trek include a two-night stand at the Triple Door in Seattle, as well as a three-night run at Yoshi's in San Francisco, and a pair of shows at Anthology in San Diego.
The roadwork comes behind 2012's "Dune," Liebert's 25th studio effort since relocating to Santa Fe, where he released his double-platinum selling debut album, "Nouveau Flamenco" in 1990, backed by Luna Negra.
"Dune" features Liebert on acoustic and electric guitars, Jon Gagan on acoustic upright bass guitars and keyboards, Char Rothschild on accordion, and Robby Rothschild and Chris Steele on percussion instruments.
