In Pictures: Jack White in Nashville

Nashville resident Jack White treated his adopted hometown's fans to nearly two hours of songs last night (5/15) during the first of two shows at the city's historic Ryman Auditorium, where he kicked off his "Blunderbus" tour.

According to a review published today on citizen-times.com, the sold-out crowd included none other than Wynonna Judd, who was seated in the front row of the balcony. "Blunderbuss" is White's first solo album, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart just after its release in April. After tonight's Ryman show, White's next appearance will be in Gulf Shores, AL, for a set at the third annual Hangout Music Fest.

SoundSpike photographer Samantha Shrader was among the guests with permission to take pictures of Jack White last night, and here are some highlights. --View Larger Photos
