Slash extends North American "Apocalyptic Love" run
Grammy-winning guitarist/songwriter Slash has added more shows to his in-progress trek ahead of his second album, "Apocalyptic Love."
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer continues the roadwork with his band, Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, tonight (5/7) in Orlando, FL. Since last check, another 21 North American stops have been added to the run, including a May 25 appearance at Pryor, OK's Rocklahoma Festival and several Canadian performances scattered throughout late July.
A round of European shows is also on the summer itinerary.
"Apocalyptic Love," Slash's second solo set, will hit retailers May 22 on Slash's own label, Dik Hayd International. The album, which also features Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, follows his 2010 eponymous debut, which peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Rock Albums, Independent Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts.
