The Wiggles welcome back Greg with U.S. summer run
Australian children's group The Wiggles will spend the summer entertaining families across the U.S. and celebrating the return of yellow Wiggle Greg Page with the "Getting Strong" tour.
The colorful quartet, comprised of Jeff, Anthony, Murray and Greg, will begin the road trip with a July 12 performance in San Diego. The 30-date outing works its way from the West Coast to the East, performing in arenas, auditoriums and theaters through an Aug. 19 concert in Long Island, NY.
Fans who have subscribed to the Wiggle Time newsletter at the group's website will have access to presale tickets, which go on sale today (5/1) in a handful of markets and May 7 in the remaining cities. General on-sales begin a few days later via Ticketmaster.
The monthlong trek marks Greg's U.S. return after a five-year hiatus due to illness.
"I'm so excited to be back with my friends and to be entertaining our incredible fans again," Greg said in a press release.
Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and the Wiggly dancers will join the four-man group for the outing, which will again benefit Reach Out and Read, a national school readiness organization.
