Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley top Watershed fest
Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley will team up with other big-name country music stars this summer for the premiere of the Watershed Music Festival, sponsored by Live Nation and promoter Brian O'Connell.
Set to take place Aug. 3-5 at the scenic outdoor Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA, the festival will feature luxury camping sites, late night sets, impromptu jam sessions and views of the Columbia River Gorge.
Three-day passes to the event go on sale Saturday, May 5 through Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Ticket packages start at $90. All seats are general admission.
Other country music artists slated to appear at the festival include Dwight Yoakam, Kix Brooks, Sara Evans, Brantley Gilbert, Thompson Square, Uncle Kracker, Tracy Lawrence, Reckless Kelly, The Lost Trailers, Steve Holy, Johnny Reid, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Morgan Frazier and DeeJay Silver. A local stage will feature regional acts each night. More artists will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.
The Gorge Amphitheatre is a nine-time winner of Pollstar Magazine's award for Best Outdoor Music Venue. It is home to the annual Sasquatch Music Festival and a regular stop for the Dave Matthews Band.
