The Zombies come alive on the road

Part of the original British Invasion, The Zombies take to the road again this summer in continued support of their latest album, "Breathe Out, Breathe In."
First up on the initial itinerary is a stop at the Villages Amphitheatre in Fayetteville, GA on July 28. The group will follow up with appearances in four more cities, including a two-night stand in New York City at the Highline Ballroom and a visit to Washington, DC's Howard Theatre. More dates will soon be announced, according to a press release.
The 2011 launch of "Breathe Out, Breathe In" and subsequent tour coincided with the band's 50th anniversary. Recorded in just over a year in Argent's own Red House Studios, the album marks the outfit's first original album since 2004's "As Far As I Can See."
The Zombies comprise original members Colin Blunstone (lead vocals) and Rod Argent (keyboards & vocals) as well as Jim Rodford (bass), Tom Toomey (guitar) and Steve Rodford (drums).
Their signature works include the psychedelic pop/rock '60s singles "She's Not There," "Tell Her No" and "Time Of The Season," and the 1968 album "Odessey And Oracle."
