Train plots lengthy summer trek, uncorks new wine

Following an in-progress European run, pop-rockers Train will canvas North America celebrating the recent release of the full-length "Calfornia 37," as well as the latest wine varietal of the same name.
The San Francisco-based outfit has another 10 European shows ahead before returning to North America for the July 10 tour kick-off in Montrela. The 41-city trek crisscrosses the continent, stopping by arenas, amphitheaters and festivals through late summer. The outing, which concludes Sept. 30 in Phoenix, includes a two-night stand at the Ravinia Festival Aug. 11-12 in Highland Park, I.
Mat Kearney and Andy Grammer will provide opening support on select dates of the North American leg.
"California 37," Train's sixth studio album, hit retailer last week. The Columbia Records release, which was recorded in San Francisco and Los Angeles with Butch Walker and Espionage, follows the band's 2009 multi-platinum set, "Save Me, San Francisco."
Along with the new album, Train has also unveiled another variety of wine from their own Save Me, San Francisco Wine Company. The "California 37," a Cabernet Sauvignon, follows the company's two previous varieties: a Petite Syrah called "Drops of Jupiter" and a Chardonnay dubbed "Calling All Angels." A portion of the proceeds for the latest release will benefit Family House, a San Francisco charity that provides temporary housing to families with seriously ill children. More information about the wine is available at the Save Me, San Francisco Wine Company's website.
